Now time for easy - wins - so- far -Russia to meat the real competition of the group -Uruguay, with a dangerous spitz of strikers and always medals on their mind.
With 3 -0 , Uruguay humbled the steaming Russian team.
Uruguay tops group A, Russia joining to the 16th.
Group B Went on and gave drama amd resistans and more to the two rivals in group lead.
It was two DRAWS at the endend, no less.
Oh my days.
Iran -Portugal 1 - 1, with an eminent game from the persians, that rocked not- monster- any -more -Ronaldo into joinimg Messiclub and got his penalty saved.
Spain - Marocko 2 - 2 !
This group was on fire until the very, very end.Only when rival-derby of Spain - Portugal goals were pouring in. It was a fight over every point until the end for Tunisia and thrilling Marocco.
Spain tops group B, Portugal second with a gasp.

As far as Denmark goes, I know they do not go for the joga Bonita, they go for points to advance. Content with a draw, they playd on it.

For Iceland, beloved Iceland -they faced yet another huge football nationalteam , namely my favourites for the Gold - Croatia.
Not in any way giving in or falling apart, my friends the Northernes gave a tough fight, scored a goal and will return with more then dignity to Iceland. They shook Argentina and it's king Messi (Maradona ofcourse, just kidding).They are golden gold, in any way.
